GENERAL INFORMATION

• Effective lOJun 02, TASSD “assumed" the
consolidated TASS Training Ammunition
Management mission from the four TIEs for
FY03

• TIEs will complete and are responsible for
all FY02 actions for their appropriate
regions

Accreditation visit "GIGS" for Class V
* Coordinate with MSG Payne or Mrs. Carolyn Knight to
confirm if "Gig" is a TRADOC or TASS BN deficiency.

FY03 ACCREDITATION ISSUES

* Effective 01 Oct 02, all Accreditation deficiencies for Class V
items will be coordinated with TASSD Ammo Mgrs for review if
deficiency is HQDA/HQ TRADOC higher headquarters issue
(ammo shortage/nonavailable issues) or TASS BN/RTIs
deficiency for not providing requirements/forecast within
required timelines (official information on TASSD TAMIS-R
database)

* If TASS BN/RTI has POI requirements posted for FY03 Ammo
and ammo authorized is less than required quantity because
HQ TRADOC did not receive sufficient quantities from HQDA,
the deficiency is Higher Headquarters (HQDA/HQ TRADOC).

* If TASS BN/RTI does not have POI requirements posted on for
FY03, and ammo authorized is less than required, the
deficiency is the

TASS BN/RTIs.
